The Firs School Pupils Excel at Ruthin School Maths Challenge

Pupils from The Firs School recently took part in an exciting Maths Challenge hosted by Ruthin School. Competing in four engaging events – Crossnumber, Geometric Puzzles, Question Hunt, and Maths Relay – the Year 5 children demonstrated outstanding teamwork and problem-solving skills.

The teams from The Firs School performed exceptionally well, securing 2nd and 4th place in a strong field of competitors.

Headteacher Mr David Girvan commented, “Everyone at The Firs is incredibly proud of the pupils for their enthusiasm, teamwork, and determination throughout the challenge. Their success reflects the high standards of learning and collaboration we strive for every day.”

Thanks are extended to Ruthin School for hosting a fantastic event/
