Pupils have received offers from a range of highly regarded schools, including The King’s School, The Queen’s School, Wirral Grammar School and Ellesmere Port College, highlighting the breadth of opportunities available to Firs pupils.
These results reflect the strong foundations our pupils build at The Firs, where small class sizes and a personalised approach ensure that every child is known, supported and encouraged to achieve their very best. Alongside this, opportunities such as the recent Secondary School Transfer Evening help families feel informed and confident when making these important decisions.
The scholarships awarded recognise both pupils' academic achievements and the confidence they take with them into the next stage of their education.
Headteacher David Girvan said: “These results reflect the determination and curiosity our pupils bring to school every day. I’m incredibly proud of how they’ve grown, not only academically, but in confidence and character. Through strong relationships with a range of secondary schools, alongside the support each child receives along the way, we ensure our pupils are well prepared to move on to the setting that suits them best. This achievement speaks to the strength of our whole school community.”
At The Firs, academic success sits alongside a strong focus on personal development. Through small class sizes, tailored learning and excellent pastoral care, pupils are supported to become confident, adaptable and well-prepared for the next stage of their journey.
