MOVEMBER MILE
The Firs School Children in Chester all assembled to complete their morning mile walk wearing a stick on moustache to support the Movember charity which is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health.
Fostering both mental and physical wellbeing among its pupils is of
great importance to the Firs School and prioritizing these aspects
alongside academic excellence is crucial in preparing pupils for the
future. A well-rounded education that focuses on nurturing resilience
and providing holistic development ensures that pupils are equipped to
face challenges and succeed in various aspects of life.
Headteacher at The Firs School in Chester Mr David Girvan grew a moustache for Movember as part of the charities fundraising appeal. He commented: “I'm proud of all our children in their great efforts to support Movember! Sporting a moustache for a good cause has been a fun way to raise awareness and funds and together our school community has made a meaningful difference in supporting men's health initiatives."
