Parent-time at The Firs School, Chester
The Firs School Chester, the leading independent school for boys and girls aged 0-11 years old, recently hosted a series of special parents events including football, netball and pottery sessions. Parents and carers were invited along to a friendly kick about at The King George V Sports Hub (Chester FC in the Community), to attend a netball session at The Catholic High School in Chester and also have been having a go at making pottery in the schools own very special pottery room.
Headteacher and organiser Mr Girvan comments: "All the events have been really enjoyable and we are looking forward to organising more events of this kind for the Firs Family in the future such as The Firs Parent Quiz we have coming up on March 15th. Celebrating everyone involved in our school and our local community is extremely important to us and it was great to see everybody come together. Each Friday at The Firs, we host a coffee and cake drop in session which is very popular and we love to hear our parents socialising and getting time to really know the school and our Firs family better.”
